To better understand the how CEOs can disrupt incumbent industries and the undaunted mindset that is required to be a trailblazer, Ray Wang, CEO and founder of a Silicon Valley-based advisory firm Constellation Research, and I invited Kara Goldin to join our weekly show DisrupTV. Uh-oh, says Facebook, it turns out millions of user passcodes were stored in plaint text on the social network’s servers. Facebook disclosed the mistake that risked exposing the passwords of Facebook and Instagram users in a new blog post called Keeping Passwords Secure — presumably the irony is not intentional. Facebook says it discovered the mistake earlier this year: The company goes on to say that no one outside of Facebook had access to user passwords, and to their knowledge, no one internally abused having access to exposed passwords stored in plaint text....

Captain America is seen as one of the most upstanding characters in the MCU. He’s a hero that cares a lot about morality and doing the right thing, and even before he became Captain America, Steve Rogers was always trying to stick up to bullies. While he definitely has a lot of positive and heroic qualities, there are also moments where he makes some questionable moral decisions. He’s a more complex character than many people realize....

The hushed murmurs of this “Jack business” refers to the Victorian serial killer Jack the Ripper, thought to be a member of the elite class, who murdered British prostitutes — some say out of a moral obligation — to cleanse the city of London of their degradation....

Apple users who don’t want to rely on the built-in charging station guidance in their electric vehicle (or their iPhone) now have the option of using Apple’s CarPlay for everything from navigation, starting a session, to joining a waitlist at ChargePoint EV stations. ChargePoint’s EV network is available around the world and the new update that brings CarPlay support is a welcome one for Apple users. Within the CarPlay interface, electric vehicle owners can search for and navigate to charging stations (including charging speed and more), start charging sessions, and also join a queue in the event a station is full (via The Verge)....

Captain Marvel appears to be embracing her Kree origins like never before, especially as she takes on the mantle of Supreme Accuser in the latest Empyre crossover - and it looks like she’s not the only one. Carol will have an entire team of Accusers backing her up in Captain Marvel #20, as revealed at C2E2. Captain Marvel’s Accusers team includes the likes of War Machine, Spider-Woman, and Hazmat. Each member is sporting an Accuser redesign, as well as the Accusers’ signature hammer....
