Parade route:
The parade will begin in Oakland on Broadway at 11th Street, turning right on 20th Street, turning right on Harrison to 19th Street, and right on Lakeside Drive, ending on Oak and 13th Street.
Unlike last year’s post-parade rally, however, there will be something new for 2018.
Per the NBA: “In lieu of a post-event rally, the Warriors and the City of Oakland have focused their planning efforts solely on creating an interactive parade, the primary element of a championship celebration, where fans will have the opportunity to share in the up-close excitement of the 2018 NBA Championship with the Warriors, their players, coaches, legends and staff.”
Parade time:
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Fans can start lining up for the parade on Tuesday as early as 6:30 a.m. The parade will also be available online on NBC Sports Bay Area.
How to get to the parade:
BART will be your best bet getting to and from Tuesday’s parade. Check out BART’s Warriors victory parade rider guide 2018 for complete details.
Bus reroutes:
AC Transit buses will be rerouted around downtown Oakland for most of the day due to street closures in the parade area. As road closures begin to affect bus service, AC Transit ambassadors will be deployed throughout downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt to help guide residents and visitors to appropriate bus stop locations. AC Transit ambassadors will also distribute flyers with information on temporary reroutes and affected bus lines.
AC Transit lines 1, 6, 12, 14, 18, 19, 20, 29, 33, 40, 51A, 62, 72, 72M, 72R, 88, 96, NL, Broadway shuttle and all nighter lines 800, 801 and 840 will be detoured.
Detours of these bus lines will happen in two phases and start the day prior to the parade.

Parking:
According to the city of Oakland, the streets will be filled with people and parking will become sparse with the out-of-towners driving in to watch the parade. If you’re hyperlocal to the area, use BART, Transit, or public transportation. COO also advises against using rideshare apps as the streets next door will become clogged.
No scooters AT ALL.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, “Not only will bikes/scooters not be allowed on crowded BART trains, but there will be few places to park them along the parade route, because the sidewalks will be super crowded. Best to park your bike or scooter at a BART station and head on foot from there.”
