As the first MCU release of 2019 a lot is riding on Captain Marvel. It’s Marvel Studios’ first female-led solo superhero movie. It’ll also introduce Captain Marvel before her expected appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Yet one of the continuing sources of speculation for Captain Marvel is its introduction of the alien race of Skrulls....
